The last time I went to a fireworks display was over 10 years ago. My friend and I was on the south end of Manhattan watching the display up the river. I was not impressed. Now the one I see out of my bedroom window (at the Bears Stadium in downtown Newark, NJ) are pretty awesome. Just loud. I guess because I live only right around the corner from the stadium. They're good, but still, not enough to make me stop and stare for long periods of time. My kids used to rush to the windows to watch the display, but now they don't do it as much. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
