When did you first realize that you were crazy and a fool? Was it a positive or negative experience?
Question submitted by George.
I first realized I was a damn crazy fool the day I stood up to my ex's mother's husband (please don't call him my ex's stepfather because then you'll die a painful death) while pregnant with our first child. It started when my ex left night school without calling me to tell me he was leaving early. I waited for over an hour and he was a no show. I then went back home and ate pizza. He then called me to tell me that he left early because he wasn't feeling too well (this was in 1992 mind you so cell phones were too expensive for a lot of us). He then started telling me that his mother's husband was acting funny. I then started hearing a commotion over the phone and I heard his sister yell, "Don't hit my brother!" I threw the phone down, slipped on my pregnancy pants, grabbed my car keys, peeled out of my parking space and ran every red light to get over to my ex. Mind you, my oldest daughter was asleep in her crib, my mother in the next room, and I said nothing to no one. Once I got there, I jumped out of the car and confronted the ass. I was practically foaming at the mouth after seeing how he pounded on my ex. Of course, he wasn't my ex then. Anyway, he raised his fist to me and told me to back away from him. I told him, and I quote, "And when you hit me, you better make sure you kill me because you DON'T want me to get back up!" He backed away. Mind you, I'm 6'2". This man had to be about 5 or 6 inches taller than me. He knew right then not to f*** with me.
Of course, after everyone calmed down, I asked myself, "Girl are you freaking crazy?!? That man could have killed you!" I guess when someone messes with a loved one, no matter what the situation is, a person wil stand up. After that, there were many other fights between my ex and his mother's boyfriend until he tried to fight my ex's sister. FINALLY their mother called the police on him and had him arrested. Actually, the sister called the police and when they came, the mother's husband tried hiding in a closet. It was their mother that ratted him out. We were glad to see him go. Too bad their mother is back with the fool
