All three cops in the Sean Bell trial has been acquitted. The pumped 50 freaking bullets into the car he and his friends were in and they get off. I guess they'll have to take this higher like Abner Luima (forgive me for misspelling his name) to get justice because this doesn't make one iota of sense. It seems that it's OK to shoot someone 50 time, especially when they're unarmed. I can see once or twice even though that's too much. But 50??? And one guy reloaded! Damn!
You know those little, fancy chocolate balls served in the gold wrapper, with the commercial saying they were made for the Gods, but one escapes? Well, I do NOT like sharing those bad boys. They're much too good for children!

I'm still alive. Just haven't been online since the place where you plug my Powerbook broke and I don't have the money to fix it right now. And I don't like using my daughter's computer. I just can't sit in her room and sit at her desk. It's too uncomfortable. I haven't even played with LiveJournal as of late other than doing email posts. I guess I can do more of that here as well.
As for catching up and catching anyone that reads this thing up? Highly unlikely. I can't remember what was going on in my life when I last posted. I can tell you this. I'm getting an electric guitar. I have some extra sales credits that I'm using for this and I'm not paying a dime for it. I'll be a new rock star by 40. Maybe I can join Duran Duran if they're still up and running by the time I get good at it and in need of a new guitarist. Maybe I can get a bunch of screaming fan girls/guys wanting my autograph. Maybe I can stop the delusions *snicker*. But I am getting an electric guitar.
That's pretty much it for now. Today is my Stinka's 14 birthday. She starting high school tomorrow and I'm so glad. She's getting closer to moving the hell OUT!!! Two down, two to go. Ari is going to be a senior this school year and she'll be going away to college I hope. She's still undecided but one can hope. Then I'll be left with my son, Boy-Boy and the Screaming Meme, Bird. Oh, and whatever guinea pigs that survive.
This is a blurry picture of me and my neck brace. I've been wearing it on and off all day but now I have it on for the rest of the evening because, OUCH!, my neck hurts. It's sore.
I've spent my morning on the phone with my insurance company. They were being pretty thorough which I'm happy for. Lets just hope that the rental car and car repair shop is as good as the insurance company.
I guess I won't know fi this went through until I get home because, hey, I don't have internet access. I do have intRAnet access and I can send and recieve email from my personal account. However, unless it's on my companies server, I can't view other sites.

If Josephine was here today, I'd be wishing her a Happy Birthday. She's be in the kitchen cooking her a birthday dinner because no one, other than her oldest sister that lives all the way in Georgia, can cook as good as her although she would appreciate the gesture. Knowing her, she's bake her either a coconut layer cake or a butter pound cake. She'd be cooking dinner just for her and her oldest grand-daughter (my oldest baby) and everyone else can eat the scraps. My brother would buy her a plant because that's all she usually asks for. I'd give her either money or American Express Gift Cheques I got at work. Josephine never asked for much but she was thankful with what she got.
Unfortunately, she passed away last October 11, 2005 from CLL (chronic lymphocystic luekemia). Last year, on her 64th birthday, since I can't bake, I bought her favorite supermarket freezer coconut layer cake and wished her a happy birthday. She was having an extremely bad day and we all understood. I cried because I knew she was never going to make her birthday dinner or be happy with what we made for her. I knew there would be no more homemade, from scratch cakes. We knew there would be no more birthdays after that one.
Hopefully, whereever her soul is resting, my grandmother is cooking her her favorites foods because that's the only other person I knew that could cook better than my mother (and her oldest sister). My father (who died of lung cancer May 31, 1981) would probably be sitting with his brothers getting drunk so not to piss them off. My mother is helping my grandmother take care of the baby sisters that passed which made the 11 year gap between my mother and her younger sister. And knowing my mother, she has a broom, chasing behind Star, Lucky, Precious, Britton and the four guinea babies that didn't make it, because, to her, guinea pigs are rats.
