You know those little, fancy chocolate balls served in the gold wrapper, with the commercial saying they were made for the Gods, but one escapes? Well, I do NOT like sharing those bad boys. They're much too good for children!

What's something you bought, knowing it was a total waste of money?
My last HP notebook. 17" doorstop.
Do you have any phobias?
Submitted by Amirul B Ruslan.
This is probably one of the many reasons why Ronald Weasley (Harry Potter) is my favorite character (other than the fact that the guy that plays him will soon be a hot red head that I can legally drool over). I have a serious case of arachnophobia. I'm not afraid of small spiders. I mean, really small spiders. However, when they are longer than the length of half of my pinky, then all bets are off. Arachnophobia (the movies) scared the bejebus out of me. I was snatching up my then two year old son to protect me. And watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was also frightful for me also. The thought of giant spiders coming after me was just too much!
What's the best present you gave this year?
Friendship. Doesn't cost a damn thing. It's just being there when you're needed the most without any fanfare is all that counts.
What's your favorite holiday movie?
Carrie!
No. Really.
Only kidding. I like the Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer and Rudolph's Shiny New Year. And of course, The Year Without A Santa Claus.
How did you find out the secret behind Santa Claus?

When I was about 4, my brother woke me up really early in the morning to show me who were the real Santas.
Basically, it was like this. Christmas Eve, my mother would sleep with me and my father would sleep with my brother. The didn't trust us, so this was their way of making sure we stayed in bed while they set things up for us. Both of my parents were smokers and my father accidentally knocked his ashtray over in the bed. While he was cleaning up the ashes, he woke my brother up, but my brother was such a sneak, he pretended to stay asleep (he was 6). He then left the room, got my mother and they went to the attic to get the goodies. As they were setting up, my brother came in and woke me up. We were peaking through the kitchen door, into the living room, watching my parents get our toys under the tree.
We had never said anything to them until a few years later. In fact, I don't even recall anyone saying anything to my father about that. I was 12 when he died, but we definitely talked to my mother about it. Several times. Even after having our own kids.
What's one thing you regret not doing?
Submitted by Mr. Nice.
Some days I regret that I didn't use birth control (days like today because 75% of my rugrats are getting one my nerves). Other days I'm glad I didn't (when they are not getting on my nerves of course). One thing I regret on and off is staying at my current company for damn near 17 years. I only stay for the kids (and the benefits). Now, I were to find a job with the type of security my current one does, pay either the same or more and have equal or better benefits, then I'd be more than happy to move on. Unfortunately, most companies these days don't want to give anyone anything, so I'm not going anywhere and I love my babies bunches ^_^

Do you keep a journal or diary? How often do you write in it?
Submitted by Kim.
What? Other than Vox? Yes. I keep a Live Journal, set to "Friends Only". There are times when I do make a private post, but that's not too often because, well, I can't be so bathered to tell the truth. I find it relaxing letting all my friends hear me bitch and moan about life in general *snort*
When do you start your holiday shopping?
Submitted by Murphy.
Whenever I have the money to start. Sometimes, it's a day or two before Christmas. This year will be really hard because I had to get a rental car, pay my insurance deductable, my car note and rent. All at the same time! Isn't that special.
